Thank you Mandy!!!
I’m not really a breakfast person, but that does look good 😉
Thanks Mad Dog, I think I’ll have this today!
I’ve already had breakfast & lunch today but this made me hungry again — and I’m not really an oatmeal person. I’d eat this, though.
Healthy and delicious 🙂
Cheers

Thanks! 🙂 Indeed it was!
I like to cook my oats in 1% milk — it adds calcium and protein to my diet and they are creamier that way. Irish oats (steel-cut) are great.
I haven’t tried the milk in mine yet, I eat so much cheese I think I’m okay on Calcium. 😉
Nothing wrong with steel cut oats in this house hold. Always in the cabinet and ready to use! 🙂
Awesome! I love them and I always have a bag laying around! 🙂
I have oatmeal alost every morning, but its usually made in the microwave at work. I don’t use the little packets, though, I promise! 🙂 I have steel oats in my cupboard and you have me thinking that I really could let it cook while I’m getting ready in the morning and I could take the hot bowl with me! Hmmm….I think you’ve given me a good idea. It sounds so good! Thanks, Jen! Debra
🙂 that would work just cook in a larger pot on low, so they don’t erupt over your pot (that is not a fun mess to clean). Go for it! I’m doing some as we speak! 🙂
amazing last weekend i had steel cut oats for the first time….
