Honeymoon Time! Seoul, Thailand, Koi Samui Here We Come!

Standard

I’ve been running around lately like a chicken with my head cut off (more than usual).  Between work and prepping for the trip my free time has been almost non-existent.  Other than last nights Bon Voyage dinner party (I made Jambalaya)-The dinners I’ve been cooking lately have not been too interesting: blt’s, mac and cheese, hot dogs, pizza, etc-quick easy staples of the average American household.  The last major trip I went on was in my Senior year of High School, my parents and I went to Cost Rica for two weeks, I was in high school, I wanted to be with my friends, not my “lame” parents for two weeks…( you know I love you Mom and Dad more than anything).  So basically I’m LONG over due for a “real” trip.  This will be my first time to travel such a distance, 7083.55 miles to be exact or at least that’s what an on-line conversion calculator told me…  I’m more than ready!  Let’s just hope we don’t come back glowing… 🙂

We will be meeting my Husband Evan’s parents (my in-laws that I LOVE) when we get to Seoul!  They live there currently for work and are going to show us around town!

The most exciting part of this trip for my husband and I is the food, we love Korean and Thai!

I will still be updating my blog here and there when possible so stay tuned… for now I’ll be known as Zestybeandog Abroad.  Talk to ya soon!

About zestybeandog

I live in Austin with my wonderful husband, dog Ginger, and cat Skiddy. We are a pretty laid back group (except for Ginger). When I'm not teaching yoga, personal training, or dog walking... I'm in the kitchen. I'm always experimenting with new ingredients and thinking of ways to prepare fresh foods in a unique way. I hope to update the blog 4-5 times a week. I've had several friends, family, and clients inquire about my recipes so here it goes. What to expect: Healthy recipes that are good for you, some classics (that have been spruced up), some not so healthy recipes (still made with quality ingredients that can be enjoyed in moderation), and beer and wine parings/reviews! I hope you enjoy, cheers!
